Walter Wong

Hong Kong multi-genre Musician Walter Wong currently serves as Music Director of the Hong Kong iMusic Academy and is actively engaged in major commercial performances and events. He has developed a diverse musical background spanning both classical and contemporary genres, with early training in piano and saxophone. He later pursued advanced studies in composition and orchestration under Dr. Sheung-Ping Lai.

As a pianist, saxophonist, composer, and arranger, Walter is active in Hong Kong’s music scene. He has served as orchestral arranger and bandleader for the 42nd Hong Kong Film Awards and the 14th Asian Film Awards. Recently, he performed as a pianist in “A Musical Journey”, a concert presented by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra in collaboration with legendary musical theatre star Lea Salonga.

Walter is also an experienced performer in concerts and corporate events, having collaborated with artists such as Wan-Pin Chu, Gordon Lee, Warren Mok, Vivian Lai, and Gavin Tao, and performed for Bank of China (Hong Kong) and Hang Seng Insurance, HK Art Fest etc. .
