
Ariane Loze
Ariane Loze (born 1988, Brussels) is a video artist who performs in her works. She pares down her production means to the fundamental elements, aiming to explore the connection between her body, the camera, and the viewers. Her work highlights the relativity of perspectives and the evolution of identity through the principles of cinematic editing. Various characters in her œuvre reflect the multiplicity of identity and the resulting inner confrontations. Ariane Loze studied at RITCS (Brussels), participated in A. pass (Antwerp), and is a laureate of HISK (Ghent). Her works have been exhibited in numerous European and international institutions, including Kanal - Centre Pompidou (Brussels, Belgium), EMST (Athens, Greece), Shandong Museum (Jinan, China), and S.M.A.K (Ghent, Belgium). She is represented by Galerie Michel Rein.
