Michel Lo
Born and raised in Belgium with French roots, Michel Lo began his culinary journey with four years of French cooking studies at a local catering school. He further honed his skills in Belgium and near Paris, where he discovered his passion for food carving.
Michel managed his family's restaurant for 15 years before transitioning to education. He earned a diploma in pedagogy and taught for 18 years in a public school, starting at age 26. Throughout his career, he connected with influential French chefs who inspired him to compete in culinary contests and join prestigious associations such as the Académie Culinaire de France, Toques Françaises, and the Disciples d'Escoffier.
In 2018, Michel earned a bronze medal at the Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg. His culinary creations have been showcased at the Chocolate Museums in Brussels and Bruges, and at the Quai d'Orsay in Paris. He is also a jury taster for the International Taste Institute in Brussels, where he contributes to the annual food awards.
